Currently, the default 8 bit colour depth, RGBA (Red, Green, Blue, Alpha) format video packing is used when capturing images in InputVlCamera. Video packings haven't been investigated at all, and so it is possible that more suitable or better video packings may exist, and may result in higher quality captured images.
