Three data files were used, with sizes of 256k points, 5952k points and 13568k points8. Unfortunately, time restraints meant that these files couldn't have an exact image enhancement algorithm (as described in Section 1.1.1) run on them, and so these results cannot be compared to an exact algorithm as we would have liked.
In addition, technical problems prevented imaging of an approximate point source to be used as a basis for the OTF, and so unfortunately results for an experimental OTF couldn't be obtained.
