• "Accelerated C++ : Practical Programming by Example" by Koenig and Moo, ISBN 0-201-70353-X
  • Textbook website

  • The Co-op Bookshop has a number of copies available for about $70.

• Other recommended references:
  • "The C++ Programming Language" by Stroustrup (3rd edition, or special edition)
    • This is a more advanced reference style book, aimed at experienced programmers.
    • It's useful because it has definitions for the entire C++ language.
  • Other books should be recently published (after 1997) and score at least Recommended or Highly Recommended on the ACCU reviews. If in doubt, "Accelerated C++" is recommended as many other C++ books deal with old and outdated versions of the language and may have technical problems.
