6.1.11 Stereo JPEG files

There exists a ``stereo JPEG file format''21, which is reasonably standardised and allows a pair of stereo images to be stored in a single JPEG image file. Compression by cross-correlating the two image may or may not be achieved. Extending the ImageVision Library to be able to read and write this format would be of substantial benefit, allowing ``standard'' stereo JPEG files to be interchanged with other pieces of stereo-JPEG enabled software.
